Titled and signed by photographer on recto mount. Four ceremony dancers in elaborate costume of belts, bracelets, necklaces, facepaint, embroidered loin cloths, and shields. Kerwin B. Roche photographed wildlife in Kenya and Tanganyika and African dancing in Nairobi and Kenya over an 18 month period. Some of his work is in the Smithsonian National Museum of African Art, Eliot Elisofon Photographic Archives.
