About This Image

Photographer's signature in ink on verso. An unlikely encounter of two cultural icons captured by Krementz, a noted author and photographer known for her portraits of writers. She is the widow of Kurt Vonnegut. In the 60s she worked for the New York Herald-Tribune and spent a year in Vietnam photographing the war. Her work has been exhibited at Nikon House Gallery and at the Mark Twain House and Museum in Hartford, Connecticut.
