DC Fine Art Photography Fair Set For Oct. 5-7 With 15 Dealers

Kathleen Ewing, D.C.-area gallery owner and formerly the executive director of AIPAD, has launched a new photography show in the Washington, D.C. area. The multi-dealer exhibition, called the DC Fine Art Photography Fair, will run from Oct. 5-7, 2012. It will be hosted at 2801 16th Street, NW, Washington, DC, a Beaux-Arts mansion, which served as the resident of the Ambassador of Spain from 1927 until the late 1990s.

The fair will be open to the public on Saturday, October 6 from 1noon to 7 pm and on Sunday, October 7, from 11 am to 5 pm. A Saturday morning panel discussion, "On Collecting Photography" will be held from 11 am to 12 noon. All weekend events are free and open to the public.

There will be an invitation-only opening reception on Friday night. Reportedly over 15 well-known photography galleries and dealers will be showing work.
