Carl Mautz Photography and Carl Mautz Publishing have joined the I Photo Central website group. Mautz specializes in 19th and 20th-century Western and American photographs and Camera Work and Curtis photogravures. He represents Leslie Elias, Jean Paul Houcmont, Ira Latour, Gregory Leupp and Gerald Robinson.

The companies publish and distribute photography books, buy and sell vintage and contemporary photographs, and supply photography collectors with archival quality acid-free polypropylene sleeves.

Carl Mautz has been actively involved with photography collecting since 1971. He is the author of the 600-page resource book "Biographies of Western Photographers". The book is largely a massive directory covering 15,000 photographers in 27 Western states and Canadian provinces. It contains an index by state/province, a bibliography, a text on collecting photographers' imprints, a dating guide and a glossary of terminology.
